Iwan Baan is an architecture photographer and he varies from the style of buildings he photographs, they vary from modern to buildings that have been left. My favourite photographs from him is the ones that he has taken of buildings which has been left to fed for themselves. This is because I like how they have got their own personality and they are not new and shiny looking like the others.

The simplicity of these photos make them look really good, as there isn’t much going on in it. Such as with the newer buildings you get distracted from what you are actually looking at and more focused on the features. The grime on the buildings show that they haven’t been looked after well and show that they have been there a while. In the second photo the rich blue colour draws you into the photo as it is in different parts of the background.
