As the public we can reduce the amount of litter that is left on the beaches and oceans. We can stop this by clearing up after ourselves when we have gone to the beach, OR we can have a reusable bottles that we use daily instead of buying water from a shop. The other troubles are that some times we flush wet wipes down the toilet which goes into the ocean. Most of the products we use take years to decompose after we’ve had one use from them, such as nappies, they take 200-500 years to decompose and parents use them on the daily so we could improve those by making them biodegradable faster.
